2-4-6-8! Who do we appreciate!? Spirits Cheerleading Camp! Spirits Cheerleading Camp! Spirits Cheerleading Camp! Hurray! Can you feel the energy and excitement? This is one superlicious camp! These awesome athletes will work on their cheers, chants, dance, stunts, jumps and of course, tumbling! All backward tumbling circuits will be set up to build the necessary skill sets to get closer to that ever popular back handspring and beyond. Our cheerleaders will get to use the trampolines and power track to improve their jumping and tumbling skills. Throughout the week they will be learning a short routine that will include dance, jumps and tumbling. The best part about the routine is the girls get to do their hair and make-up and put on a performance for friends and family the last day. This is one camp our athletes beg to attend over and over again! Girls and make-up! Who’da thought!

Team camp is for any gymnast that is working at USAG Level 3 or higher. At Spirits this includes Little Cyclones, Lightning, Pre-Team and Level 4 and up. In addition to reviewing the correct techniques for the basic profile skills, these gymnasts will work on strengthening their weak areas on all events. Gymnasts will concentrate on the skills needed for their particular level as well as additional skills in which they express an interest. The emphasis will be on safety while at the same time pushing them to higher level of correctness and difficulty. Our team campers get one afternoon off to play at the pool and have fun in the sun before it’s back to work getting ready for their parent show. Be prepared to be impressed!

For the best movement education experience for 3, 4 and 5 year olds look no further. Have we got the camp for your kids! Our motto: FUN physical education this week! We will jump, skip, giggle, roll, stretch, laugh, bend, cheer, dance, slide, swing, balance, paint, read, bounce, run and most of all, SMILE! We use gymnastics activities and movement to help teach reading, math, science, art and so much more. Each day has a theme that is reinforced with our story time, circuits, craft projects and fine and gross motor work. Did I say work? Well, grown ups might call it work, but the kids call it tons of FUN. Get ready to be amazed as you watch their performance on the last day of camp. Ready, set, tons of action!

Little ones as young as 5½ can brighten the sparkle in their star by attending our Super Star Camp! Athletes from very beginner to trying to make a team will be thrilled to find themselves upside down more than right-side up during this week. Is your child always asking you if it’s gymnastics day? Is your child always flipping or doing cartwheels everywhere you go? This is definitely where they will want to be this week. Our athletes often learn their gymnastics skills at a faster pace with the more time and repetition they get to take advantage of this week. They will clean up their form and technique in their current skills and work on more advanced skills. They will get to have fun games and activities that will get them sweating and laughing. They will get one afternoon off to spend at the pool and then it’s back to work getting ready for their show for their parents. Come watch your young star shine brilliantly!
